Demo Morselli was born in Reggio Emilia in 1961. After graduating from the Frescobaldi Conservatory in Ferrara, he took part in and won numerous competitions and auditions. He devoted himself with innate passion to his great love, classical music, performing symphonic or chamber music with orchestras such as Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, I Pomeriggi Musicali and Orchestra sinfonica della Rai in Milan. Later, encouraged by some musicians in the underground music scene, he became involved in jazz and modern music. For years he collaborated with one of the most famous jazz-rock schools in Italy, the Centro Professione Musica, where he taught trumpet, trombone, ensemble music and big band conducting. As a session musician, he has also collaborated both as an arranger and instrumentalist with international performers such as Ray Charles, Simply Red, Robert Palmer and many Italian artists including the progressive rock band La PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi), Pino Daniele, Renato Zero, Mina, Jovanotti, Eros Ramazzotti, Adriano Celentano, Antonello Venditti and Gino Paoli. Demo Morselli has performed in numerous concerts throughout Italy and abroad, as well as taken part in important tv shows including ‘Buona Domenica’, the ‘Maurizio Costanzo Show’ and ‘I fatti vostri’.

From a child soloist at the Sistine Chapel (Rome), with the Schola Puerorum, to the world’s most prestigious opera houses, Vittorio Grigolo is today one of the most important tenors on the opera scene, with a career marked by unforgettable artistic encounters. At the age of 13 he performed as the Shepherd Boy in Tosca at the Rome Opera House alongside Luciano Pavarotti. Aged 23 he became the youngest tenor to inaugurate the season at La Scala in Milan. In 2010 he made his international debut portraying Rodolfo in La bohème, becoming a new star of the New York Metropolitan Opera. His career on the most prestigious stages has risen continuously. The past months have seen him perform Cavaradossi in Tosca on tour with the Teatro dell’Opera of Rome at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, as well as at the Vienna State Opera and at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Canio in Pagliacci and Don José in Carmen at the Staatsoper of Hamburg, Manrico in Il trovatore at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Rodolfo in La bohème at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and the Vienna State Opera, Tosca and Il trovatore at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Les Contes d’Hoffmann at La Scala, La traviata and Tosca at the 100th Arena di Verona Opera Festival, Des Grieux in Manon at the Vienna State Opera. He has given numerous recitals and concerts, including the Concert de Paris under the Eiffel Tower before 800,000 spectators. He performed as Alfredo (La traviata) at Zurich Central Station and Nemorino at Malpensa Airport (Milan). On-screen appearances include the RAI live broadcast, as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, directed by Marco Bellocchio, alongside Plácido Domingo and Ruggero Raimondi. His career story is one of talent, passion, and dedication.
